My Artwork On Zazzle
My Artwork Designs At Zazzle.com
I've placed many of my designs from original paintings and digital designs on several different quality products on which Zazzle allows you to place your designs. I will show you how easy it is to start your own shop on Zazzle and attempt to inspire you to create some designs yourself.
I am an artist and designer and have been creating my paintings and designs for over 25 years.
One day while watching painting programs on the television, something clicked and I just knew I could do that! True to my lifelong passion of learning new things, I set my mind to it, got the supplies, and off I went into 'painting land'.
After retiring from a long work history with Corporate America, I decided to devote myself further to my artwork. In 2007 I brought my paintings online to my Art Blog and in 2009, I started sharing my paintings on Zazzle.com a print on demand site.

Scanners for Artwork - Making High Resolution Images
No matter what type of artwork or designs you create, you will always want to keep very high resolution (dpi) images of your art. When I first started listing my artwork, I usually scanned my artwork in 300 dpi. Now I save at a much higher resolution. It is easier to scale down a higher resolution image to a lower resolution than the opposite without loosing the image integrity.
I have an external hard drive that I save my images to so that I will always have easy access to listing my art images on such sites as Zazzle.com.
The good news is that you can get a great scanner for a nominal investment! Click on this one to read more about it or to see other scanner options.
Making Posters And Prints With My Artwork
My Artwork On Zazzle - ItayasDesigns
Zazzle has over 250 different items that you can place your designs on and their printing quality is first rate. They are continually adding new products to place artwork and designs on which keeps their market place very fresh and up to date.
Being a painter, I am a bit fussy about how the colors of my paintings translate to the items I place them on. Each time I place an order from Zazzle, I am very pleasantly surprised with how close to the original image and painting the item is!
It is always advisable to save images of your artwork in very high-resolution files so that you can make use of such sites as Zazzle.com. A large clear resolution image will insure the item you are creating will be top quality.
If You Do Not Want to Paint, Consider Creating Digital Art - It's Easier Than You Think
Most of the artwork that I've placed on Zazzle products to sell are from original paintings. However, many of my designs are also from digital art that I've created. Some are from photos that I've enhanced in some way using such programs as Photo Shop.
Most people think that creating digital art is very hard and that it requires special schooling. In this day and age, it couldn't be easier! Listen to these videos as digital artists walks you through creating your own along with some valuable tips.

My Artwork On Hundreds Of Items At Zazzle - It's Easier Than You Might Think!

I figure that if I can learn how to navigate the design templates on Zazzle and share my art with the world then anyone can! I am from a generation that did not grow up with a computer readily available for making and creating artwork. These days it seems like most babies cut their teeth on some kind of digital device and therefore designing seems to come easier for the younger generations.
Placing my artwork on items at Zazzle.com helps generate an extra income that I use to invest in my art supplies. I am sure that if I applied myself more that I could make this income grow even larger. Many Zazzlers make thousands of dollars a month with their designs!
Since it doesn't cost anything to have a Zazzle store or to list items to sale, all that you are investing is your time. Granted, time is important to everyone and very precious, but a few hours here and there can add hundreds of items to my store.
I have placed my artwork on dozens of items for sale in the market place. You can find my artwork on poster prints, canvas prints, mugs, mousepads, clothing items, calendars, jewelry, binders, notebooks and dozens more items. As long as you save a very large file of your artwork, you can place it on hundreds of items at Zazzle.com.

What Items Sell Best On Zazzle?
Selling Artwork On Zazzle
Since being on Zazzle for the past years, I've noticed a few trends with sales of my artwork and designs. As I mentioned earlier in this article, I not only place my original artwork at Zazzle, but also my digital and photographic designs there as well.
The items that sell best for my Original Artwork are Art Prints on Canvas and Paper, Invitations, IPhone Cases, Business Cards, and 3 Ring Binders. I've sold my artwork on many other items but these seem to be the top sellers for my Original Artwork.
For my Digital Designs, the best sellers seem to be hands down Invitations and specifically Wedding Invitations. I've also sold quite a few iPhone Cases and some Poster Prints with my Digital Designs.
My Photographic Designs have sold well in the Invitations category, 3 Ring Binders, and Necklace Pendants.
I am currently in the process of adding my artwork and designs to the newer items that Zazzle has brought to market and hope to see an upswing in sales with my artwork and designs on even more awesome items.
Zazzle now offers you the ability to place your artwork on lovely Throw Pillows, Messenger Bags, Cases and Covers for many Gaming, Electronic and Phone devices, Canisters, Pet Bowls, Playing Cards and so many more!
I'll share more of my designs with you as I place my Original Paintings, Digital Designs, and Photographic Designs on some of the newer items that Zazzle now offers.
